Ukrainian air defense destroys enemy missile fired at Odesa

Russian invaders on July 6 fired a missile from a Su-35 fighter jet at the Odesa region. An air defense unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the missile as it approached the city.

The press service of the Operational Command South said this in a post on the Telegram channel of the Odesa City Council.

"The enemy tried to launch another missile attack on the Odesa region. A Kh-31 air-based missile was launched from a Su-35 aircraft flying over the Black Sea. Air defense forces eliminated the missile over the sea," the report said.

Early on July 6, Ukrainian air defense forces also destroyed two Kalibr-type cruise missiles launched from a Russian submarine as they approached Ukraine's coast.
