Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost at least 8,044 units of military equipment.
This is reported by Oryx.
Data confirmed by photo and video materials indicate that 4,927 pieces of equipment were destroyed, 198 were damaged, 300 were abandoned, and 2,619 were captured.
Analysts specify that Russia's losses amount to:
- 1504 tanks (862 of them were destroyed, 522 were captured);
- 718 armored combat vehicles (439 destroyed, 245 captured);
- 1,748 infantry fighting vehicles (1,078 destroyed, 553 captured);
- 154 rocket salvo systems;
- 80 anti-aircraft missile systems.
At the same time, according to Oryx, Ukraine lost 2,289 pieces of equipment, of which 1,372 were destroyed, 94 were damaged, 60 were abandoned, and 762 were captured.
Oryx calculates equipment losses based solely on photo and video evidence. They do not take into account the equipment that was not recorded on the footage.
